Phonics learning this week 10.7.22

This week in phonics we have been looking at the letter names. We learnt that some letters are uppercase and some are lower case. We looked at the uppercase letters and thought about their similarities and differences to the lowercase letters.

We played matching games where we found a partner with the matching uppercase letter and guessed which letter would be pulled out of the bag. We also looked at the first letter of our names and talked about names always starting with an upper case letter.
