Travelling tales

 We had a fantastic surprise on Thursday as we had a visit from Mildred and Gertie who told us lots of stories from around the world. The children were captivated with their storytelling, and we talked about performance art and actors, props and costumes. We also talked about the role of the audience and a round of applause and a standing ovation. 

The children also made their own sun and moon wand and used it when singing the song we learnt with Gertie.
